It seemed odd in this case, though, because Primo has worked so hard on his previous campaigns.
Dennishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16436977757866621150noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3577155903853273621.post-56878456003070527302018-08-18T06:01:54.866-07:002018-08-18T06:01:54.866-07:00Odds are pretty low. I don't even remember what I wrote - but basically, Primo didn't feel like he could campaign against her on the one thing that differentiated them - that she is a woman - and she was hitting that part hard.

He didn't want to have to run really hard in a primary and then also run really hard in a general. It's exhausting. He lost 20 lbs the last campaign (and he doesn't have a lot of weight to lose). Pretty much everyone else around here has to run in just a primary or just a general.

He also told me that he has always run because he felt like someone needed to and nobody else was stepping up. That did not make me happy at all! I can think of a lot better things to do with our time and money than make a point for the party.

There are some other very personal things - not personal for me, as you guys know I pretty much let it all out here, but personal for Primo that are not mine to share.

It's all good. He is a much happier person now!the gold diggerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09134199198587591427noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3577155903853273621.post-57503493972830507602018-08-17T06:42:52.823-07:002018-08-17T06:42:52.823-07:00She's nice, she's aware of issues. That's the only key to whether or not to endorse in my book.

And also - what are the odds that she's playing Primo about developing the land?Anonymous Cathttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04003518941180713047noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3577155903853273621.post-45702211132467481472018-08-17T04:54:25.366-07:002018-08-17T04:54:25.366-07:00There seems to be something missing in this string...There seems to be something missing in this string of posts about his decision. Primo really, really wanted to be elected to something and put in a lot of work and even sacrificed his career. This year there was finally a real chance that he could win in his district. Then a primary challenger pops up and he just gives up without a fight? That doesn't make sense. Why didn't he get the signatures he needed, beat her in the primary, and then go on to win the election? Surely he didn't quit just because you wanted to take a vacation in July rather than August, did he?Dennishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16436977757866621150noreply@blogger.com
