In which Ted delegates another task to Primo and I wonder why Ted is not beat up on a regular basis

It is our last day of vacation. We have just returned from playing tennis.

There is an email from Ted.

Primo still has not responded to the demand for a conference call, but Ted won't stop emailing.

In this email, he sent Primo a spreadsheet of all the savings bonds Sly and Doris had given to Ted's son over the years.

Nope.

Don't know why.

Neither Primo nor I can figure out why this information would be relevant.

Ted said, "This spreadsheet might help you in your research."

If anyone has any ideas about why savings bonds given as gifts over the years should have any relevance to Primo's responsibilities as trustee and executor of Sly and Doris' estate, please tell me. Because I sure can't figure it out.

  1. 5 bucks says they were supposed to an example of what Primo, as trustee, should invest the trust's money in.

    1. Because Ted knows better than Raymond James. That's why Ted is super rich.

  2. I think it's to get his brothers to let him know what Sly & Doris have given to each of them so he makes sure he gets his fair share.

    1. Hmm... I'm putting my money on "See, this is what they gave to the grandkids, so clearly there's been some sort of mistake and the money isn't REALLY meant to go only to the grandkids..."

  3. yes, because it's very important that Ted get his full third! Ignore it all. If Primo decides to remain as the Trustee, he will someday need to tell Ted (and Jack, if necessary) to just butt out. They are not involved ... only the kids. You should probably mark Ted as "spam" in the email filter! Ok, just kidding, i think.

    1. He is on my email, Webb! I have been encouraging Primo to do so, but have had no luck yet.

  4. Ha, I would mark Ted's email address as a Phishing Scam!

  5. OK, I'll be serious. Is Ted trying to use the record of the money that Sly & Doris gave to his son as a baseline for future disbursements from the trust? So, if they gave his son 10k a year, Ted will want to apply for 10k from the trust asap...while he figures out other angles?

    1. I think he wants to compare it to what Jack's kids got so he can prove that it's not fair and he should get more?

  6. That's a possibility! In Ted's eyes, it is stacked 3:1. Is he the guardian of his son, or can I assume the worst of Ted? ;-)
