Primo: My dad told me I have very bad taste in women.
Me: What? When? Last week?
Primo: Yes.
Me: What prompted that?
Primo: I commented that I thought a particular tennis player is really good looking and he said that I have particularly bad taste in women.
Me: But he is saddened by the rift between us.
Primo: No! Not just saddened. He's "deeply hurt."

Why would your husband tell you something that would hurt your feelings? Is there something I don't get?
ReplyDeleteAnon, Sly does not hurt my feelings. He has hated me from day one, for many, many reasons, one of them being the way I eat bacon. He is nothing but a source of material to me now.
ReplyDeleteBecause how you eat bacon is integral to your character. He is a wealth of material for you, that is for sure.
