Ch 12 I clean the house to prepare for houseguests – again, to show comme il faut but also because I do not like living in a dirty house

Me: This is so gross. I can't get the tub clean.

Primo: So?

Me: It's all sticky. I can't get the soap scum off. This cleaner isn't working.

Primo: But it's environmentally responsible.

Me: It's crap. It doesn't work. I want Ajax.

Primo: But that's harsh.

Me: It will get the tub clean.

Primo: That's so irresponsible.

Me: Would you like to clean the tub that your parents will be using?

Primo: I think it’s clean enough for them already.

Me: Good point.
