Ted and Jack are very bad caretakers of cats.
Ted and Jack are very bad caretakers of cats.
They are sitting near me, purring and wanting attention.
And they completely screwed up the feeding. The cats have different food, but Jack fed both of them Lilith's food yesterday and fed them WAY too much.
"Zey were 'ongry! Zey were crying!"

Lazy! Too lazy to do it right!

Does the house reek of urine? It wasn't like that when I visited. Do the rugs have to be torn out?
Primo
Well, the living room rug should probably go.

The bedroom carpet is a bit dirty, but I don't see how it's a fall risk.
They pretty much did everything wrong here. They said that they "threw out some old food." Included in what they threw out was a stash of cheese that was bought recently and was in the back corner of the fridge. The expiration dates on the packages were months from now!
And they took an extra quart of half-and-half I'd bought and put it in the freezer! It was brand-new.
Me
Sheesh
Sheesh
I talked to Stephanie last night
She said Ted said something about how he was the elder
Primo
I had put half of a quart of milk in the freezer.

and she doesn't know why Jack isn't more involved, as he moved them to FL specifically to have a better relationship with your dad
Primo
If my half-and-half is separated when it thaws, at least it won't cost us. (I'll buy more with my dad's credit card.)

They did NOT do it right.
They did NOT do it right.
Me
NO!
NO!
She said Maria was shocked that Ted wanted to board the cats
Primo
They also got rid of a few household items, but they would have done much better by getting rid of magazines. Most of what they threw out, both food and non-food, should not have been thrown out!

Stephanie said that your dad and his ex wife had gotten some silver as a wedding present
and the ex was going to give it to Jessica when she died
but your mom and dad said it had to stay in the family so should go to Maria
And they lost some things. Dad's electric razor was left at the hospital, and one of the clipboards is missing.
I guess Ted's wife isn't family
smile emoticon
They are not doing it right!
Primo
So the silver is here?
So the silver is here?
Me
NO!
NO!
Ted's mother has it!
That's why I am so confused!
1. who cares who gets the silver that belongs to your dad's first wife?
2. how is your dad going to get it from Ted's mom when she dies?
Primo
No one is doing it right.
No one is doing it right.

no!!!!

Grandfather's second wife told my aunt the sliver tea set that belonged to her mother was too good for her.
ReplyDeletePeople you need wills.
Oh Liz. You are so right. Don't even get me started.
Deleteyeah. promises mean nothing.
ReplyDeleteWebb, are you saying that if it's not in writing, it doesn't count? That's crazy talk!
DeleteA branch of the family is dealing with an estate. The "white turquoise jewelry" was left to someone. No one knows what this is, is the turquoise white or the setting? Is white turquoise a thing? And no one can find this jewelry, and the recipient might sue the executors, even though they haven't done anything with the alleged white turquoise jewelry.
ReplyDeleteNot to get ahead of myself, but yes, Ted and Ted'sWife are all mad because they think Primo is keeping the Good Bracelet from them. Primo asked Sly where it was, but it is not to be found.
DeleteOh FSM, we have one of these in our family. (The Good Bracelet, not the "white turquoise jewelry".)
DeleteMy grandfather was a cab driver for many years, and one day someone left a ring in his cab. I have no idea whether he tried to give it back, but knowing him, even at his poorest he would have tried pretty hard. Anyway, my grandmother (narcissist/BDP) told my aunt, her daughter, that she couldn't have it, and gave it to my mom, her daughter-in-law. Now my aunt asks me about it even though she's quite wealthy.
Oh, and the ring looked fake to me, so we had it appraised, and the jeweler even said "Geez, that's so gaudy, that can't possibly be real!"
Ten. Grand.
Oh, and any benefit of the doubt I might have scrounged up for Jack and Ted went out the window when I found out that they THREW OUT CHEESE.
PERFECTLY GOOD CHEESE!!!?!!??!!!

DeleteThrowing away cheese is bad! I read this comment to Primo and he said, "Well, I am not sure if Jack threw away the cheese. I wasn't there. Jack has not been a jerk. But Ted sure has."
